Instant breath alcohol testing is a simple method of determining whether an employee is under the influence while they are on the job. Consider the following times to perform breath alcohol testing on employees. Workplace alcohol testing is mandatory for DOT employers and a strongly recommended practice for all businesses to increase safety and reduce Workers' Compensation claims. DOT employers should refer to their workplace drug testing policy for when alcohol testing is required.

Texas Safety Test takes special care to understand the unique needs of each of our clients to design custom solutions that exceed expectations.

We are proud of the work we do and are proud to offer these services to our clients:
Saliva drug testing has some advantages over other drug testing methods, while those methods have their own advantages. Saliva drug testing is ideal when you want quick results, as it can take minutes to complete saliva testing. It's also great for detecting very recent drug use, as saliva more quickly comes to contain drug traces than other potential test sampling fluids. Saliva drug testing is a fast, easy, unobtrusive way to detect very recent drug use. The results are a 99.9% accuracy and you can have the results in 2 minutes.
The technology behind the hair test was pioneered by Psychemedics Corporation. When drug metabolites are circulated in the blood, they enter the scalp's blood vessels and are filtered through the hair. These metabolites remain in the hair and provide a permanent record of drug use. About 50 strands of hair are taken and dissolved in a series of solvents. The laboratory then analyzes the liquified sample using Gas Chromatography and Mass Spectometry. This makes it a highly sensitive test, yet the considerable cost and prolonged process means that it isn't often used. It also usually requires a confirmation drug test using urine.
